Nike Free Ride

I got a size 7 of these shoes for my 13-year-old son, and can say they run true to size. The shoes are quick and easy to put on and take off mostly because they do not have the standard tongue you find with other running shoes. My son’s first impression was how comfortable they are. His feet felt like they had a lot of cushioning, which is especially nice for someone whose feet are a bit more flat. I personally feel, from observing him, that the design helps his balance and coordination when walking and running. Although the shoes look a little bulky, they are very lightweight. The material is lightweight and breathable as well. My son looks forward to getting a lot of use out of these shoes and I’m happy to have a product that supports his feet adequately.

My 10-year-old daughter is very athletic and very particular about her shoes. She loves shoes that are comfortable for everyday wear but can also keep up with her when she plays sports. The first time she wore these shoes was for her school Run Club and she was so excited! She said they were very comfortable, even on turf. Later, she wore them for PE class, and they didn’t disappoint. The next time, she wore them while playing volleyball at the park, and once again, they were great! She also used them for indoor volleyball and loved how they feel on the court. They also look beautiful on her. In my opinion, the white color with the silver Nike swoosh looks amazing! She loves the look as well. They are light weight and almost look like slip on shoes just with laces. They definitely look well-made and like they will last for a while. Overall, we’re very happy with these shoes!

The Nike Free Ride Big Kids' Running Shoes are incredible! For reference, I got a boys size 4 for my short-statured 11-year-old son. As a parent of a very athletic child, I appreciate the details in these running shoes. My son goes through tennis shoes so fast and we have struggled to find some that we both like. When I opened the box, my mind was immediately put at ease. The shoes were ridiculously lightweight and the width was what I had been searching for, a wide toe box for my wide-footed child. These shoes also state they are approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association, which told me that someone actually cared about a child's foot. On the bottom of the shoe, the tread was utlra-flexible and had many grooves and details to ensure its flexibility. This shoe arrived just in time for my son's first cross country race of the season! He RAVED about them! He couldn't believe how much its wide and lightweight design actually made a positive impact on his running. The visual design and color was a huge plus too! I truly want to find that same pair in an adult size so I can try them myself! Overall, I am so at ease knowing my son's foot is the safest its ever been in a running shoe.
