I am 5"6 usually order a 1X in anything that is supposed to be leggings like - these were way too big and very long; over the sneaker long. I really didn't mind that too much but I would say size down on these. I ordered two pair and had to send both back. As for the fabric, very slinky and stretchy; they are long in length with a slight flare at the bottom and side slit - all nice features but not sure about the fabrication in very warm weather.

I'm 5'6 on the chunkier side Ordered 3xl thinking it would be more of a snug fit. A little too loose for my liking and preference. Aside from that the material is light and breathable. And falls right at/below my ankles. So if you wear a 3xl and are OK with a looser fit 3xl is good. But if you prefer a snug fit I say size down.

I got these and the matching hoodie for Christmas and the pants are too short. I’m 5 ft 7. I’m not sure if this is supposed to be the fit or not.
