- The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. These run VERY tight. I like snug but a medium fits like a small. Do like the phone pockets on both sides though. Overall I like them but slightly too tight. Would be perfect if that was adjusted
