I’m surprised there are bad reviews. I had the 4s and I actually like these more. Since the reviews said to size up, I got both my normal size (7 1/2) and 8. The 7 1/2 fits so much better! I walked around my house in the 8s and they loose around my ankle—My foot was lifting out of the shoe a tiny bit. There’s a little more compression than the 4s, but I actually really like that for running on grass. So I recommend keeping your normal size unless you have a wide foot. I don’t consider my foot narrow, I think it’s pretty normal.
Comfortable sole but narrow

First time Nike shoes feel too narrow. I think it is because of the waterproof construction that the shoe can’t open more even with the shoe laces loosened.
