Can't get my foot into the shoe easily
I usually buy about 2 pairs of Nike free running shoes per year. I have never had a problem getting my foot into the shoe. So disappointing because once you get your foot in, it is a really lovely shoe. Just cannot struggle every time and that is without socks!

Poor sizing
I can forgive that they fit a bit snug. My fault for not reading the sizing information. But it really shouldn't be so much hard work getting them on my feet.

I've had probably a couple of dozen pairs of Nike trainers down the years, all the same size and have never struggled like this before. The collar is simply too small for a design that doesn't feature any stretchy materials.

got the project wrong
It's very difficulty to get my foot in the shoe. Loosen the shoelaces doesnt help.

Fit is bad
Fit is bad. I can’t get my foot in the shoe. I had my wife try and slide her foot in (she has a smaller foot) and was also unable to put the shoe on.

Good shoe with wrong choice of materials
The Free design itself is what a free should be. But this style picked non elastic material for the upper, with the narrow forefoot design, it created a shoe that's hard to put on. For normal free shoes, the upper feels like socks that will just be fine. Other than that, this is not a bad shoe at all

What happened to these awesome shoes
I had a pair of these when they first made them, back in 2007 (believe it or not). They were some of the best shoes I ever bought. These look just like them, and the materials feel like them, but they are impossible to put on and their sizing is waaaay off. So bummed as these had to much potential.

unable to put on, runs small
These shoes are good looking however they run small and super hard to put them on eventhough I ordered 1/2 size up. Returned them today.

Comically designed collar
If a shoe can't go on your foot, is it even a shoe? This is a seemingly perfect shoe with a great style, color way, and multi-use purpose, but once you TRY to put the shoe on it looses all it's shine.

Too small and too loose
Small foot opening with no stretch whatsoever makes it a struggle to put on. Once on the shoe feels loose and the laces don't seem to tighten them evenly. This is probably a combination of the unforgiving fabrics and fewer eyelets than other Nike shoes.

Good shoe but way too small
As others have said, this shoe is not true to size. Luckily, my regular size (12M) was out so I order a whole size up. 13 fits perfect.
