I had a very similar shoe several years ago. I like the extra width and the style, and I think everything will be fine. The shoes were stiff / new and will require some breaking in. A sewn seam next to my little toes caused some irritation but I am counting on that situation improving after I wear them more. The quality of the shoes is much better than some more economical models I have tried.

Loved the Nike Monarch wide.

I've been wearing these shoes for decades. Good fit and comfortable. However, the quality has gone downhill drastically. Especially from Indonesia. As they got older I would pass them down the line. I love the Monarch edition from Nike. This is my 3rd pair. They provide great support and are very comfortable.
