  • Loveeee My ACG Zegamas! <3

    Al :)

I got the ACG Zegama Hikes for hiking and running/biking on trails. The shoes have exceeded my expectations! They’ve kept my feet dry in wet conditions, have incredible grippy traction on the terrain, and are very comfortable with a plush/cushiony heel. The feature I love most is the ankle cuff, which keeps rocks and debris out of your shoes, allowing you to focus on your exercise. They are a bit heavier than I had hoped, but I still love them overall. Would highly recommend!

  • Quality Hiking Shoe

    MCC

The Nike ACG Zegama Hike feels like a trail running shoe that was pushed closer to a hiking shoe, and that combination works better than I expected. The cushioning is noticeably thick and comfortable, especially on rocky trails or long downhill sections where firmer hiking shoes can start to feel harsh. What stands out most is how light they feel compared with traditional hikers. They do not have the stiff, locked-in feel of a boot, which makes them easier to wear for casual hikes and long days outside. The tradeoff is that they are not the shoe I would choose for carrying a heavy pack or hiking on terrain where strong ankle support is important. The grip is good on loose dirt, gravel, and dry rock, but the tall cushioning can make the shoe feel slightly less stable when stepping across angled rocks or uneven roots. I also found the shape more comfortable after breaking them in, since the upper initially felt a little structured around the midfoot. Overall, the Zegama Hike is best for someone who values cushioning and comfort more than a traditional hiking-boot feel. They are supportive enough for most day hikes, comfortable enough to wear around town, and more enjoyable on hard surfaces than many rugged hiking shoes. They would not replace a true boot for demanding backcountry trips, but for everyday trails and lighter adventures, they are an excellent option.
