Always living up to his persona of ‘The Beast’, footballer Adebayo Akinfenwa is known for his larger than life character. Positive, excitable, humble, he’s one of a kind.

His sense of self belief is truly intoxicating, it can light up a room - so, when Akinfenwa was called upon to coach 23 year-old Londoner, Tu’Shea on his incredible challenge to learn how to dive in just 4 weeks, he was the perfect man for the job.

Akinfenwa provided Tu’Shea with a much needed confidence boost and a few words of wisdom, but he was only able to help Tu’Shea because of the path his own career has taken and his ability to tune out the negative opinions around him and focus solely on himself.
