Nike Sportswear City Utility

First off, they look so precious on my son and he absolutely loves them. He is three and clearly feels like the coolest kid on the planet. I love that there is reflective material on the front. The material as a whole is sturdy and has held up well to the wear from a very active toddler. The only thing I would change is that I prefer shorts to fit a little shorter, but my son couldn't care less.

Overall, the Nike City Utility Shorts are a great option for outdoor play. They fit a little looser than expected, but they are easily adjustable to a more comfortable fit thanks to the drawstring. My child loves carrying small items in their pockets so the roomy pockets are definitely a bonus. The fabric is a bit heavier and the inner lining is a soft fleece material making them better for mild temperatures. The only thing I would change is the placement of the cargo pockets. I think they would be more functional on the sides rather than on the front of the shorts.

I was really excited to get my hands on a pair of Nike City Utility Short. They are not normally something that I gravitate towards as they are part of the lifestyle collection by Nike and not the typical athletic shorts I have. Initially, I thought they were great shorts but the longer I had them on, the less blown away I was by them. I completely understand that they are not intended to be athletic shorts, but they felt heavier and heavier the longer I had them on. They also bunched weirdly in my groin area and were almost uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I don't believe these are shorts I'm going to be reaching for very often in my closet.
