Nike Pro Sculpt

This is a very nice, high quality workout top. The straps are comfortable and the material feels sleek and soft. It washes well on the delicate cycle and dries quickly on a drying rack. It’s obviously really well made. However, I did have issues with the fit. I’m petite and small chested and the small size felt tight around my chest but was baggy around my stomach and tended to bunch up, which is not something I want to deal with as I’m running. Also, I could barely get it over my head. My concern is that if I tried the medium, it would be even baggier around my middle and I don’t care for that look at all. I’m sure this style of top will fit a lot of people well but it doesn’t quite work for my proportions.

I wore this top on one of the most unexpectedly busy days of my week. This shirt went on a walk/run with me, then to the hospital, and all around town while I ran after my kids and got errands done. It held up through it all! I had planned to take nice, aesthetic pictures, but the truth is, my aesthetic is raw and real, just like these pictures I remembered to take at the end of the crazy day. The fit of this top runs small, it runs more like a L/XL. My go-to size is XL because I like a loose fit. A Large usually fits me, but it feels tight. This top is an XL, and it fits me like a Large usually does on me. It also wouldn’t stay down throughout the day, so I was constantly pulling it down. It has a built-in padded bra, but I was nipping out, all day and I didn’t love that. It could use thicker padding for me to truly use it as a 2-in-1 top. The design is very sleek and minimalist, and I love the front of the top! I’m not a fan of the big Nike logos on the back. Big logos like that are ugly to me, but that’s just a personal preference. I prefer no logo or small, dainty logos. Bigger logos make things look cheap. IMO The fabric is everything you want a workout top to feel like smooth and almost silky. It feels like a good-quality, expensive workout top. Speaking of workouts, I wore it on my walk/run, and although it kept riding up, I SWEAT A LOT, and my top still felt dry. So crazy!! It was breathable, and it was really nice not having a bra squeezing me under a top. Although the fit wasn’t as loose as I normally like, it didn’t feel tight because the fabric was stretchy. Overall, like I said, it’s just okay. There are pros and cons, but thicker padding in the bra area would’ve been a game changer!

I like this top! The first thing I noticed was the design on the back; I love how the logo is incorporated into the racerback. It fits well and stays in place for the most part; it bunched up a little on my stomach but all my tanks do that. The feature I like the most is the built-in padding. I have other tank tops with "built-in bras" that leave nothing to the imagination. The padding on this is thick enough to properly conceal.
