Gone are the days of wearing typical-looking walking shoes. Drawing inspiration from the Air Max 97s, the lined patterns enveloping the shoes lend a distinct look while still paying tribute to the original design. The elevated heel, accentuated with Air Max bubbles, not only boosts comfort but also ensures that the shoes' lineage is recognizable. While they serve their purpose well, I would have appreciated greater breathability at the front of the shoe. Nevertheless, they feel lightweight yet robust—perfect for combining style and practicality. I really like the newest iteration of the Air Max line. The sleek design lines remind me of the Air Max 97. I got the all white colorway and it will be one of my go-to wears for the summer. At first I was a little concerned about the breath ability but it has a mesh like upper that keeps my foot cool throughout the day. The air bubbles in the back give a good heel to toe transition. While the toebox was a little narrow for my foot, there was a very plush feel to the collar. Overall, the shoe was above average comfort after a few wears.
