The fabric was light and very soft and comfortable. Even though it is a sweatshirt, it could be worn working out or other activities and not fully heavy or like you were getting overheated.
However, the fit and cut leave something to be desired. It was much baggier and longer than I expected, which wouldn't be as much of an issue for casual wear. For a performance item, the fit would make it difficult to be overly active in it.
