I am a 20+ year nurse and also a former ballerina,I have sore feet even at rest.I’ve been through all of the best footwear and nothing has ever been as comfortable as the Vomero 18. I received my pair on Saturday,worked 2 12hr shifts with NO pain or discomfort at all.I immediately ordered another pair for myself and a pair for my man,my daughter and her boyfriend bc I want everyone i love to have them. I can’t say enough about how good these sneakers are and they look really good too. I hope NIKE keeps these forever! I’m so obsessed

How This Was Made

First Marathon shoe

I ran my first marathon in these shoes no issues. I use to get bad knee pain in my trainings when I hit high mileage but then I got these and no more knee pain. I even tried carbon fiber plate shoes and prefer these, they are cushioned and have a bouncy effect! Way better than hoka but haven’t tried other brands. I put about 80 miles on these shoes before I ran my marathon.

I've always loved Nike for my running shoes, and the last few years I've been using versions of Nike Pegasus, but the Vomero had such rave reviews and I wanted to try more cushioning for my old joints. Did not realize what a difference it would make. So comfortable. A half-size up from my normal worked perfect for me. I'll definitely be getting a backup pair if/when they go on sale. (Side note, if these hadn't worked I would have still been happy with the current Pegasus 41, I tried the Pegasus Plus and didn't care for the feel/fit.)
