These shorts have been redesigned to be much lighter than the previous versions, which has made them a lot more comfortable. I would give them 5 stars but I’m removing 1 because most of the colours seem to be US regional exclusives, which is a bit disappointing when they’re such a good product.
Great for running, but not much else

Overall, these shorts are meant for running. They allow for adequate movement and stay in place without bunching up in the groin. Now with that said, I wouldn’t recommend these for lifting/ resistance/ CrossFit training. The shorts seem to have been truly developed for running. Movements involving deep squats/ standing/ sitting/ performing lunges really feel awkward. I feel as if the side pockets are only meant for temporary holding of items, running with anything in them is not comfortable and therefore not recommended. The rear “pocket” with a single button to hold a key is a nice feature.
