Nike Sportswear Windrunner

My daughter has been wearing the Nike Windrunner Girls’ Windbreaker for her safety patrol duties this spring and it has been a total winner. As someone standing outside in unpredictable weather, she needed something that could handle light wind and occasional misting without weighing her down. What she loves most: It’s incredibly lightweight, so she barely notices she’s wearing it, which is a big deal for an active kid on the move. The breathable fabric means she’s not overheating when the sun pops back out between clouds. Bonus she can throw in her backpack after school when it’s warmer. The wrist scrunching is a standout feature because the elastic keeps the cuffs snugly in place so the sleeves stay put no matter what she’s doing. No bunching, no sliding just a secure, comfortable fit from morning to dismissal. For spring weather duty think breezy mornings, light drizzle, that “is it going to rain or not?” kind of day and this jacket hits the sweet spot. It’s not a rain jacket, but it handles light misting like a champ and blocks the wind beautifully. If your kid is active outdoors in spring weather (whether it’s safety patrol, recess, or sports) the Nike Windrunner is a smart, comfortable choice. My daughter gives it two enthusiastic thumbs up, and so do I.

The fabric is water resistant and easy to clean which makes maintenance easy. It’s a perfect rain coat for children while they play outside. The sleeves are longer then I’d like them to be especially for a children’s jacket but I did get the wrong size so take that into consideration. They jacket has good insulation in the inside of it that kept my daughter warm. Overall great coat. My youngest loved it.
