Fast traction

The wave-like traction pattern works with the Air Zoom unit to unlock your blazing speed. It takes up more surface area of the Air Zoom unit compared with the Vapor 15 while providing the right amount of grip. It combines with chevron and blade studs to help you stop when making cuts.

Exceptional touch

Nike Gripknit, a sticky material that provides exceptional touch to the ball, gives you the control you need when dribbling at high speeds. It provides equal grip in wet or dry conditions.

Snug fit

The Flyknit upper, engineered for the game's fastest players, provides a sock-like fit. It is combined with Gripknit to form the thinnest Mercurial upper to date, bringing you closer to the ball and shortening break-in time.

  • “The Perfect Fusion of Speed, Style, and Comfort — Worth Every Rupiah and dollar

    Amado93d263e9637c470fb425c7804271ac64 - 07 Oct 2025

I’ve been wearing Mercurials for years, and this new Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite x Air Max 95 SE FG is easily one of the best boots I’ve ever played in. From the first moment I unboxed them, I could tell they were special. The design immediately caught my eye — that classic Air Max 95 “Neon” gradient with the bright Volt Swoosh looks absolutely stunning in person. It’s not just a colorway; it’s a true blend of football innovation and sneaker culture. The upper is made of Nike’s FlyTouch+ synthetic leather, and it feels soft and responsive straight out of the box. The texture gives just the right amount of grip on the ball, and it’s thin enough to deliver that barefoot feel I love from the Mercurial series. The details on this boot are crazy — from the layered side panels that echo the Air Max 95 design to the subtle “Air” text near the heel, every part looks premium. Even the insole and box presentation make it feel like a collector’s edition. When it comes to fit, this boot is pure precision. The Flyknit collar hugs my ankle nicely without being restrictive, and the tongueless construction really helps it feel like a second skin. The fit is snug (as most Mercurials are), but that’s exactly what gives you that tight, responsive control. After one or two sessions, the boot molds perfectly to your foot. I also love the NikeGrip insole, which keeps my feet completely stable when I accelerate or make sharp turns. Comfort-wise, it’s impressive for such a lightweight boot — I played two 90-minute sessions with zero blisters or discomfort. Performance on the pitch is where this boot truly shines. The Aerotrak 3 soleplate is incredible for acceleration. Every step feels springy and powerful, and the traction is perfect for firm natural grass. The studs bite into the ground just enough to give you that explosive push without locking you in too much. The plate also feels more flexible at the front, which helps when you’re sprinting or changing direction quickly. It’s the kind of responsiveness that makes you feel faster just by wearing them. Ball control is next-level too. The FlyTouch+ upper with ACC coating makes your touch clean and consistent in any weather. I’ve played with these in both dry and slightly wet conditions, and the control doesn’t fade. Shooting feels sharp and natural thanks to the asymmetric lacing, which opens up the strike zone. When you hit the ball, there’s this crisp, direct feel — no unnecessary padding, just precision. For players who love dribbling, sprinting, and attacking at high speed, this boot feels perfect. Durability has also been solid. I’ve worn them for multiple matches now, and the upper still looks great with only minor scuffs. The outsole has held up really well too. I clean them after every session, and the ACC coating really helps prevent mud and dirt from sticking. Just avoid using them on artificial grass since the longer studs are built for firm ground — that way, they’ll last longer. I also have to give huge credit to the design team for merging Air Max heritage with Mercurial innovation so seamlessly. It’s rare to find a football boot that’s both high-performance and visually iconic. This pair is something you can wear with pride, on and off the pitch. The “Air Max 95” influence isn’t just a gimmick — it’s a true celebration of Nike history, reimagined for the modern footballer. If I had to mention one small downside, it would be the sizing for wider feet. The Vapor line tends to be narrow, so if you have a wider foot, it might take a few sessions to break in. But once it does, it fits like a glove. The price is also on the higher side, but in my opinion, it’s completely worth it for what you get — premium materials, elite-level performance, and collector-worthy design. For players like me who prioritize speed, touch, and comfort, the Vapor 16 Elite x Air Max 95 SE delivers everything at the highest level. You can feel the performance difference with every sprint, every cut, and every shot. And honestly, it’s one of those boots that gives you confidence just by wearing it — you feel faster, sharper, and more stylish than ever. Overall, I’d give this boot a 9.6/10. Design: 10/10 Comfort: 9.5/10 Traction: 9.7/10 Touch: 9.6/10 Value: 9.0/10 This isn’t just a football boot — it’s a statement. It shows that Nike can combine speed and heritage into one product that performs as good as it looks. If you’re serious about your game and you love the Air Max legacy, this boot is a must-have. It’s lightweight, responsive, and absolutely beautiful in person. Whether you’re collecting or competing, the Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite x Air Max 95 SE FG will not disappoint. Highly recommend it to any fast, attack-minded player who wants the perfect mix of power, comfort, and iconic Nike design. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Would I recommend this product? Absolutely — 100%. Bottom line: The perfect combination of heritage and high performance.
