Just picked up my first pair of Air Jordans, and I couldn’t have asked for a better entry into the culture than the AJ1 Low OG ‘Obsidian’. These are straight-up beautiful — the deep navy paired with the crisp white and subtle hits of light blue? Timeless. They’re subtle enough to rock with anything but bold enough to stand out. As soon as I laced them up, I felt the difference. Super comfortable from the jump — way more supportive than I expected from a low. Whether you’re rocking them daily or saving them for special fits, they just work. But beyond the look and feel, owning a pair of OG 1s — especially in this clean colorway — feels like stepping into sneaker history. It’s one thing to admire the culture from the outside; it’s another to actually be a part of it. Safe to say, I’m hooked. Can’t wait to grab my next pair and start building my rotation.
