Behind the Design: ACG Zegama Trail

Trying to be the ultimate speed demon over rocky, technical terrain can result in some serious spills. Sometimes, you need to lean back into the run and focus on going all day, all night, forever and ever and ever. That's why we build Zegamas.

The all-new ACG Zegama Trail is all about cushioning and stability. We built it to make you feel comfy and confident on insane trails, which is why you'll see such hard-wearing, high-stack design elements.

The midsole system involves two densities: one for the spring, one for the security. We nestled them atop one another above a deep-lugged Vibram® Megagrip outsole with a forefoot rock plate, making for the footwear equivalent of an off-road racing car with beefy suspension and massive tyres.

We also know you're not going to be wearing these things on clean tile floors—at least, we hope you aren't—so we added in a collar around your ankle to keep dust, debris and rocks from getting too snuggly with your foot.
