Amazing grip but didn't last long
Would give 5 stars but a crack formed on the vibram part of the sole on the right shoe after about 6 months of use as a work shoe and sounds like it's leaking air especially when it's wet out. Have to say though the grip is amazing for a Nike shoe, it's almost on par with actual slip resistant shoes. Water proofing works well. Also love that they left the vent holes as a template on the toe cause I opened up a few to make them wearable in the summer.

Double Duty: For work and recreation all seasons.
Looking for a pair of work shoes took awhile to find style, comfort, and a shoe for all seasons. The fit is true to size, yet while protective it’s also not a heavy shoe. I definitely recommend if you work in a multi climate environment.

Smart, stylish, stable, secure, and comfortable.
Great shoe: looks very smart and stylish in all black, so can be worn in office; good ankle support, so very stable; good grip so very secure underfoot; and overall very very comfortable.

AF1 Upgrade
The new AF1's are waterproof and, as always, comfortable. The black swoosh against dark gray is subtle but noticeable. I'm a longtime AF1 fan and Nike has done fine work with this addition to the line.

Do recommend!
The shoes are sharp and hold true to the gore-Tex water proofing I came to love from my first pair. The grip on the soles is also improved over my first pair of af1 gore-Tex shoes.
