Children's Football Jackets & Coats

Keep them comfortable as they go for goal

Our children's football rain jackets are designed so young athletes stay ready before kick-off until after the final whistle. From full-zip football jackets to hooded tracksuits and lightweight woven options, this collection is made for movement. Kids can zip up fast, pull on a hood when the weather shifts and keep essentials close in secure pockets. Roomy shapes make them simple to throw on over football shirts, training tops or base layers. Meanwhile, smooth materials help each jacket sit comfortably as they warm up, cool down or head home.

Comfort that keeps up

Football moves quickly. So do kids. To help them keep their cool, look out for kids' football coats with our Aero-FIT technology. We use athlete-informed data to identify high-heat areas. Then we add engineered mesh zones to promote exceptional airflow where they need it most. Plus, moisture-wicking properties draw away sweat from their skin so it can dry fast. All of this means your footie superstar stays fresh and focused for longer—so they can put in a top performance for their team.

Protection for changing conditions

Team training keeps going, whatever the weather sends their way. Our waterproof training jackets lock out the wet and repel the raindrops, so kids can focus on the session instead of the forecast. We also have woven football jackets that create a lightweight barrier against wind. As the temperatures drop, look for hooded options with Therma-FIT insulation. It provides the warmth they need without adding weight or bulk. Choose cropped or waist-length pieces that are made for movement. Want to make sure they're snug on the touchline? Go for kids' football coats in longer lengths that deliver maximum defence from the chill.

Jackets for team days and daily wear

Our children's football jackets are built for the pitch, but they work far beyond it. Designs inspired by iconic clubs from around the world bring a clean, team-inspired look for arriving at games. When it comes to training and everyday movement, we have hooded and unhooded track jackets that keep the feel easy and comfortable. When it's time for a rest day, zip-through designs and stretchy materials ensure their football jacket is ready for kicking back and relaxing.

Small details, big difference

At Nike we know that fine margins matter in sport. So when we create our kids' football rain jackets, we pay attention to every aspect of the design. Elastic cuffs hold sleeves securely and comfortably in place, while adjustable hoods provide extra coverage as needed. Zip pockets help secure their essentials on the way to training. Durable woven fabrics stand up to regular wear, while soft linings keep comfort high. All these finishing touches add up to a garment that works as hard as your budding superstar—so they can focus on putting in their best-ever shift.

Frequently asked questions about children's football jackets

Are kids' football jackets waterproof?

Some children’s football jackets are specifically designed for wet weather, especially rain jackets and styles with Nike Storm-FIT technology. These designs help resist wind and rain during training, travel and time on the sidelines. Not every football jacket is fully waterproof, so check the product details for the level of protection, hood design and fabric finish before choosing.

What should children wear for football training in the rain?

Start with a breathable football top and layer with a lightweight waterproof training jacket or rain jacket. Nike Dri-FIT layers can help wick sweat away, while Storm-FIT shells help handle rain and wind. In colder weather, add a warm mid-layer or Therma-FIT jacket for extra comfort and warmth.
