ITS SUMMERTIME and honestly summer is my absolute favorite season; mostly because I finally get to flex my rotation without worrying about bad weather. The Jordan Sixty Plus Low instantly caught my eye. It’s got that bold, unapologetic retro vibe where it's blends a variety of classics. The ones that stand out to me are the Retro 1, 5, and 7 which are combined to create a show that's screams nostalgia without sacrificing style and the pop of color university blue will surely still turn heads on the street.
A major plus for this design is it being a low-top, it’s a total breeze to style with shorts, cargos, or jeans for everyday summer fits.
On the comfort front, these do not disappoint for casual wear. The cushioning keeps things super plush all day, and they generally run true to size. The padding gives you that nice, secure feel, though if you have wider feet, that layered construction might feel a tiny bit snug until you break them in.
However one major thing i did not like with the jordan 60 plus is the chunky factor. While I love the concept of the hybrid design, the overall shape is just a little too bulky for my personal taste. It’s especially noticeable when I put them on. I have pretty slender feet, so it looks a bit overpowering and broad. If Jordan Brand slimmed down the overall shape or build just a notch, it would give the sneaker a much sleeker, more balanced look without losing its unique, old-school charm.
