Nike Vomero 18 GORE-TEX

An upgraded feel with the soft padding and support. Sometimes I feel a little wobbly with the cushion support in some running shoes, but I feel like these fit my narrow feet really well. I’ve tried it on the track, road, and curved treadmill. Did great on all three of these terrains. I feel like this would be a great shoe for a day you are on your feet a lot like at the theme park, on a job site, hospital, or running errands. My feet didn’t feel sore the next day, and if you’re getting in lots of steps I think this may a great pair to have in your line up.

The 18 GTX are a God send. They are extremely comfortable and fit like they were specifically for made your feet. I suffered a serious ankle injury, and have been able to participate in activities longer and actually enjoy them. They have a rocker/spring action which aides in being able to walk and run with the correct mechanics.

The Nike Vomero 18 GTX offers exceptional comfort with its dual-layer ZoomX and ReactX cushioning. The ride feels smooth and stable, making it great for long runs and recovery days. The GORE-TEX upper provides reliable weather protection for wet or cold conditions. Traction and durability are also strong points, especially for a high-cushion trainer. The fit runs snug, particularly in the toe box, so many runners may need to size up. The shoe is heavier than average, which becomes noticeable during faster runs. Its thick upper and tongue can trap heat and moisture, reducing breathability. Some may also find the padding around the ankle excessive, impacting lockdown and feel. I’ve really enjoyed running in the Vomero 18 GTX, especially on rainy or colder days. The cushioning makes each stride feel effortless and supported, which helps me stay fresh on longer runs. While the weight and warm upper aren’t ideal for speed, they’re manageable trade-offs for the comfort. Overall, it’s a great daily trainer when softness and protection are the priority.
