•On June 7, in the build-up to this summer’s tournament, Nike is taking the beautiful game (and its best ballers) from local streets — to the global stage, with Toma Live.
•After launching Toma el Juego in Los Angeles in 2025 — a new, community-led and free-to-access street soccer platform designed to unleash the joy, freedom and creative expression of soccer.
•United by a single mission – to spotlight the best street ballers on the planet – Toma el Juego is designed to inspire the next generation to “Take the Game” and make it their own.
•A continuation of Toma Season One, Toma Live is an invitation from Nike for communities across the world to join this global movement and create the ultimate fan section — online and IRL — for 150+ of the best young ballers in the game in CDMX, LA and NYC.
•Representing 10 countries in total across Toma Live – The CDMX experience will play home to the Toma LATAM Finals, Los Angeles the Toma La Noche – LA Finals, and NYC will be a meetup of Toma ballers with Nike Football and athlete legends at the Showdown NYC (in partnership with the Steve Nash Foundation).
•Staying true to the Toma ethos, Toma Live will celebrate the culture, competition and community of street soccer, with a free-to-access livestream (via Amazon Music and Twitch) that brilliantly merges sport, entertainment and music.

What is Toma el Juego?
Toma el Juego (or “take the game” in Spanish) is a new, community-led and free-to-access street soccer platform designed to unleash the joy, freedom and creative expression of the game — Nike is continuing to invite young ballers to “Take the Game” and make it their own.
Toma el Juego was launched in 2025 in Los Angeles, and within six months the movement quickly moved into new communities including Lima, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Seoul and Santiago.
What is Toma Season One?
United by one mission – to spotlight the best street ballers on earth – in December 2025, and alongside Toma Miami – Toma Season One kicked off in full force; expanding the platform to six continents and over 20 cities where athletes and teams could then qualify for a series of epic finals in summer 2026.
What’s the age range for the players participating in Toma el Juego?
Athletes participating in Toma are in 14 – 18 year-old range, further enabling participation and expression in the game with youth around the world.
