Why Can't I Complete My Nike Order?

We try to make shopping Nike fast and easy. Here are a few reasons you may get an error message when trying to place an order:

  • If your delivery address, billing address or payment details are incorrect or incomplete.
  • If we're unable to deliver to the delivery address—note that we don't deliver to PO boxes, re-shippers or freight-forwarding services.
  • If an item in your bag has sold out between the time you added it to your bag and when you tried to place the order.
  • If you have an item in your bag that isn't eligible for a promo code that you're trying to redeem.

If you're still having issues, try the troubleshooting steps below.

  1. Sign out of all Nike platforms (Nike.com and the Nike App).
  2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
  3. Wait 30–45 minutes.
  4. Sign back in and try again.
Nike App
  1. Fully close (force quit) the app.
  2. The next step is based on your device type:
    1. iOS—Clear your Safari browser data: Settings > Apps > Safari > Clear History and Website Data
    2. AOS—Clear the app cache: Settings > Applications (or Apps) > Nike App > Storage > Clear Cache
  3. Reset your Nike password.
  4. Reopen the Nike App and sign in with your new password.
  5. If the issue still occurs, disconnect from Wi-Fi and try again using mobile data instead of Wi-Fi.
  6. Lastly, try to sign in and place your order from another device.
