Oakland's Renegade Running collides with Nike in this Vaporfly 4. This ultra-lightweight racing shoe gets even more love with a colourway inspired by the shop's community. For the first time, the breathable upper features reflective design graphics to go with that lighter, more propulsive feel.
Behind the design
Inspired by the shop owner's heritage and the rebellious spirit of the Renegade community, this pair features rich, bold colours.
Lighter upper
The engineered mesh helps reduce the weight of the shoe while providing a more consistent fit. And we saved more weight by reducing the size of the heel and tongue.
Lighter foam
Nike ZoomX, our most responsive foam, just got lighter. Running from heel to toe, it unlocks even more energy return than before with a slight midsole reduction, giving you a bouncy feel.
Lighter outsole
We reduced the weight of the outsole by using a thinner rubber compared with the Vaporfly 3.
Full Speed
The full-length carbon fibre Flyplate sits at a higher angle compared to the plate in the Vaporfly 3. It combines with a lower heel-to-toe drop to give you a propulsive feel on race day.

When I first put them on, I could immediately feel the soft and bouncy ZoomX foam and when I ran in them, the fly plate was so propulsive and got a new PR on my time trial in the 3200 on the roads!
Fast, comfortable but doesn’t last

Everything you want from a fast shoe but really wish the heel would last longer as the rubber pads started to detach after a few long runs.
