And the carbon-fibre Flyplate and ultra-responsive ZoomX foam midsole combine to give you race-day speed. The result is a more fine-tuned racing shoe that's trusted from the mile to the marathon.
Full Speed
The full-length carbon-fibre Flyplate has a higher angle than the Vaporfly 3 and is combined with a lower heel-to-toe drop to give you a propulsive feel on race day.
Lighter foam
Nike ZoomX, our most responsive foam, just got lighter. Running from heel to toe, it unlocks even more energy return than before with a slight midsole reduction, giving you a bouncy, feathery feel.
Lighter upper
The engineered mesh helps reduce the weight of the shoe while providing a more consistent fit. And we saved more weight by reducing the size of the heel and tongue.
Lighter midsole and outsole
The midsole bulges at the heel to help reduce weight on the inside of the foot to give you a more stable ride. We reduced the weight of the outsole by using a thinner rubber compared with the Vaporfly 3.

Poor quality

I really like the look and feel of the shoe however, the manufacturing quality is unacceptable. I’ve had the soles fall off of three pairs of shoes within the first month of running. I’ve never had a quality issue on any other running shoe for over 40 years except for this specific model. Nike, you need to do better. This isn’t a fluke, this is a quality control issue with your manufacturing.

Very good shoes very lightweight, the lower stack height for midsole is gives you the control of your feet lower to ground but still has the cushioning and responsiveness with every step.
