The forefoot Air Zoom unit is shaped like a horseshoe. This lets you experience the full responsiveness of the Air Zoom unit on the sides and balls of your feet.

Cushioning: super-high

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These sneakers didn't get great reviews on youtube because everyone was talking about stability issues. Yes, you are sitting higher than most basketball shoes, but the heel cushion is firm enough to prevent heel instability and the wide forefoot base further helps with stabilization. A breathable and conforming upper along with excellent cushioning make these a steal if you can get them on sale.
