I appreciate the rear foot stability provided by the deep snug heel counter. I got a great fit by removing the insoles to insert my custom full length foot orthotics. A few triangles of synthetic material seem to be somewhat breathable. The forefoot is flexible and roomy, for the balls of the feet and the toes. Good ground feel and ‘touch’. They have a cool classic look. These days in Nike, I am either a Men’s 11 or 11.5 Medium. The 11.5 is just right - with thin socks, like the Nike Spark socks.

Definitely order half a size larger than normal. I tried them on in the store first to be sure of what size I needed, but ended up ordering them on line. The fit is comfortable and snug. This edition has the same feel to what I enjoyed about the Gato shoes when they first came out.

I ordered a pair of UK12. The right shoe is a UK12, the left is a UK11.5/11. It's visibly smaller and measures and feels smaller. But it's labelled a UK12 like its counterpart. Really disappointing from Nike.
