Nike Universa

This tank top has a unique cut to it. If you are sensitive to high necklines, this one does go quite high up. I love the swoosh logo in the center and how it has a little bit of shine to it. It's a nice stylistic detail. The fabric is thin and quite stretchy but is not compressing at all. I wore a traditional sports bra under it and it didn't show on the front or the back. The bottom from hem is curved down in kind of a half circle which isn't my favorite but is very on trend for this year. The arm holes were plenty large enough. The shirt is true to size as a large. The fabric is very soft. Overall I think it's a great black workout tank top.

Nike Universa Women’s Tank Top is soft and comfortable while working out. The high neck paired with the wide arm openings and the racer back feels a little awkward or unbalanced when putting it on, and it always needs adjusting initially, but then it is comfortable and works for my workouts lifting, yoga, walking. I did appreciate that there was great coverage over my breasts. But for my the neckline was just a little too high. On the whole, I’m glad to have this top, and it will stay in my rotation of workout shirts.

I really like the overall design of this top, especially from the chest up. It has a sleek, almost futuristic look, and the way it fits around the neck and upper back really brings out your physique. The black-on-black Nike logo is a nice touch, too, and I love how the back looks. Unfortunately, the fit around the torso is where it falls short. The upper half fits great, but the front is way too loose and baggy, which throws off the overall look. It also leaves the sides more exposed than I’d like when working out. Another issue I noticed was that once I started sweating, the fabric tended to stick to my skin instead of sitting comfortably. I really like the style and how it fits up top, but the bottom half definitely needs some work. If Nike made the torso more fitted and consistent with the upper half, this would be an amazing athletic top.
