Nike Calm 2.0

Perfect fit.. I wear 9.5 in guys, so 11 was an exact fit, next time I'll know to just get a woman's 12.. I also have wide feet, and that wasn't an issue

Originally, I got these with the intentions of giving them to my daughter. She's on the cusp of being a teen, with an older brother who is 14, and therefore all about what is trending and comfortable. My eldest son loves slides, so naturally my daughter wanted some as well, but ones that weren't just the usual strappy sandal type. Enter: the new Nike women's slides. I saw these and thought they looked perfect. They are on trend, from a huge brand that is known for not only function but also aesthetic, and they fit what she was looking for. These came in and I unboxed them. One thing about my daughter and I? We wear the same size. So I figured I'd give them a quick try. Now, I am not the most fashion forward person in the world. I'm a mom of 6, in my mid 30s, and always busy. With that being said, these were like heaven on my feet. They don't have any obnoxious texture that ends up hurting your feet after wearing them for 20 minutes, in fact they felt like a cushion- a nice, smooth cushion- instead. The top of the slide didn't stick to my foot, even though I tried them without socks, and just felt supportive instead. My daughter, however, loved them exactly as much as I thought she would. She wears them constantly. She wears them when she's headed to gymnastics, on quick errands, and even when we go to lunch. They have quickly become a staple for her which means one thing for me- I'm going to have to get my own pair.

The Nike Calm Slide 2.0 has a very minimal but massive update compared to the previous iteration. The small nodes throughout the insole feel like they’re massaging the soles of your feet as you’re walking around in them. These slides fit true to size and aren’t as narrow as some of Nike’s older models. This wider forefoot allows for a secure but more comfortable wear for foot shapes of all types. My wife loved the all black pair compared to the other monotones available and even styled them well I had to buy a pair for myself! These slides are perfect for recovery, wearing around the house and even casual use in a social setting. Thank you Nike for sending this pair to review.
