If I am being completely honest I would not have picked these shoes off a shoe store wall if I was shoe shopping. The style looked a little too futuristic and chunky compared to my typical shoes style but when I put them on my feet I was blown away with the comfort and functionality of these Nike Air Max Muse SE shoes. The shoe is made for walking and gives a nice boost to my step that makes me really enjoy them. I also was very comfortable while wearing these during some full-body weight training workouts. I’m not a big runner so I can’t speak to performance during running but all the exercises I did in them wear very supportive and kept me balanced while exercising. I really like the dark blue color right away. I was not a big fan of the style while looking at it in my hand or in the box but on my feel they looked great! I can not say enough about the comfort I experienced when wearing these shoes. I mistakenly judged that would feel like a lifted, higher heel running shoe but my foot sits pretty level so there is not strain on my plantar which is very important for me in a shoe as I can be prone to plantar fasciitis. I will definitely be taking these shoes with me to Disneyland when I go at the beginning of next months. Although I had not big Air Max fan in the past, these shoes convinced me that I just hadn’t found the right pair that complimented my feet and body. Not only are these shoes really cool looking but my jeans drape really nicely around the shoe so the fit looks great while wearing them. The snake skin style texture is a fun compliment to the shoe design. The dark blue complements so many clothes I have in my wardrobe so integrating these to my daily shoe rotation has been smooth and seamless. You made a fan of Air Max’s with this pair so congratulations to Nike and to my feet. I will be wearing these for as long as I can!
