Toe Box Issues

Shoe looks good. Unfortunately doesn’t fit true to size. The toe box is too small and can barely fit foot inside let alone hoop in them. I don’t think going .5 up would even help.

Where'd we get inspiration for the Book 2? Look no further than a vintage all-timer straight from our vault—the Spirirdon. This special edition, naturally, takes its cues from the lifestyle staple. It's finished with the Spiridon Swoosh logo and the mini Swoosh design on the toe, as well as the iconic tongue webbing and upper materials.
We moved the Air Zoom unit from the heel to the forefoot for low-profile responsiveness.
A midfoot webbing system offers snug, soft security for quick cuts and sudden Book-like jabs and pivots.
The upper is made of a light, durable synthetic material that disappears on your foot. It helps keep you and Book feeling fresh through the fourth quarter and beyond.
The midsole is made of our newest Cushlon foam, which gives you a plush underfoot sensation, so your feet feel fresh throughout the 4th quarter.
The modernised herringbone traction pattern was inspired by Book's love for the Air Force 1, taking its cues from heritage hoops pivot circles that deliver traction and durability.

Mesh > all the other materials

D Book’s 2 - Spiridon I have not worn the other released pairs of Books 2 but from what I can see/tell these Spiridon are better than the other color ways. I believe the mesh material has a bit more give and are lighter than compared to other versions. I wear a 10.5 and have them fitting well at that size. Overall the books have not disappointed but i would suggest the mesh material books over the other materials

I’ve been wanting Books for a while now. Finally pulled the trigger on these because they look sick! First impression when they came, they look as amazing as the pics. Then I tried them on, and wow…they’re very stiff. The toe box is also very tight (and I have narrow feet). The tongue feels very cheap too; I can almost feel the laces thru the tongue. Lastly, the lace inlets on the inner ankle areas are exposed when the tongue slips. You can feel this and it is very uncomfortable! :( Oh also, I’m typically a 10.5, but I hoop in 11 (which I got)

Book 2 'Spiridon'
For professionals like Devin Booker, every job gets handled with elite execution. The Nike Book 2 is designed for hoopers who demand stripped-down versatility for accepting any assignment.

Low-profile. Lightweight. Efficient. The Nike Book 2 is built to help you move with calculated precision, so you can keep balling under cold-blooded control.

With snug mid-foot webbing and a moulded upper, the Nike Book 2 helps you strike from all three levels with stability and explosiveness—call it operational security. Pair that with multi-directional traction to stay twitchy all game long.

Thanks to a Cushlon 3.0 midsole paired with AIR ZOOM in the forefoot, the Nike Book 2 provides a low-profile silhouette with twitchy responsiveness for infiltrating well-defended areas.
