Nike Streakfly 2

Der Streakfly ist super leicht, angenehm und sicher zu tragen. Dabei ist er super rasant. Ich finde auf den kurzen Strecken ihn schneller als den vaporfly. Bei mir waren es ca 10-15 sec auf den Kilometer. Am krassesten ist es bergauf, wo man ja eigentlich langsamer läuft. Da treibt er einen noch mal so richtig nach vorne. Bei mir war auch nach den ersten 4 Kilometern ein leichter Abrieb an der Sohle hinten. Aber zum Glück wurde er nicht mehr. Klar muss einem sein, dass er nur für die Straße zulässig ist. Ich denke mal im Trail hätte er wenig Halt und würde sehr schnell kaputt gehen. Auf nassem Untergrund hab ich ihn noch nicht getestet. Alles in allem ist er zu meinem toplaufschuh für schnelle 3-10 Kilometer geworden. Und für den Preis bin ich äusserst zufrieden. The first thing I noticed about the sneakers was how light they were. They also looked fast and sleek. The fit was snug, but in a good way; it was almost sock-like. The laces have these little grooves in them that secure the laces when they are tied. That’s a very nice touch! When I took my first step, I could feel the ZoomX technology, but it was softer than my current Nike Vomero 17s which also have ZoomX. I noticed that I felt extra support from the forefoot all the way to my toes. Now to the plate in the midsole; that was something I had never felt before! I’m not familiar with how the plate works, but I can describe how it felt. It seemed like with every stride I took the plate absorbed the energy I gave it and as soon as my foot was no longer giving energy, the plate gave the energy right back to me. It was an incredible feeling. I really noticed it as I was going uphill. My runs felt easy and fast without much effort. It’s a fun sneaker to run in. There was one con about this really cool sneaker though. There is deep groove that runs almost the length of the outsole where you can see the plate. I had a couple of instances where rocks would get stuck in the groove and I would have to stop running to get them out. This could just be specific to me because of the different types of surfaces I was running on. With this being a road racing sneaker, it may not be meant for everyday use and heavy mileage. It’s sweet spot is 1 milers to the 10k. Overall, this sneaker is awesome!

Excellent running shoes. It feels like there is nothing on my feet. There is a noticeable extra spring in my push off during a run. I have noticed better times in my runs because of it. The arch is a little higher and more narrow than I would typically prefer, but not enough to be uncomfortable or unstable. The material breathes wonderfully and allows for a cooler foot experience all around. I love the color way as it looks sleek and smooth with each step. In the future I may go a half size larger than my typical size just to allow for a little more space through the arch and a little more spread for my toes in the toe box. Overall I am very pleased with this pair of runners.
