I have recently been testing out this Nike Rope de Dope Insulated Running vest. I like the fit of the vest, though I can’t wear too thick of a layer underneath. I’m probably between sizes and see now it runs small, but I was afraid it would be too large, so I went with my typical size. I would recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit or easier layering. The bungee is helpful to adjust fit if desired as well! I also like the feel of the vest - the fabric is smooth and comfortable. It’s also very lightweight and feels less noticeable than other vests and jackets. The design was also well thought out. Features that stand out are the Therma FIT fabric to help keep warm (even though it’s a thinner fabric), deep pockets, and that it folds up into its own pocket. Packing it for a trip would definitely be easy between the pocket option and it not being bulky! The design also makes it a good choice to wear under a jacket for layering in addition to the typical wearing over clothing. Overall, this vest performed well - it is warmer than you might think and is water-repellent, which are big pluses! I like the large pockets the most as I like to have my phone close by, as well as the water-repellent feature. So far I can’t find anything I’d change about the item!
