The Nike Men’s Storm-FIT ADV Jacket has quickly become one of my favorite jackets for springtime living in the city that never sleeps, NYC. NYC is also where the weather can’t seem to make up its mind, chilly mornings, hot afternoons, and random gusts of wind all in the same day. The material feels lightweight yet durable, with a smooth finish that blocks wind and light rain without making me feel like I’m wearing a plastic bag.
I love the sleek athletic look and how versatile it is. I can wear it to the gym, while running errands, or pair it with joggers for an easy sporty look that still feels put together. The style is also trendy across different age groups because my 14-year-old steals it from my closet sometimes, which I guess is the ultimate fashion approval. One of my favorite things is how comfortable and flexible it feels, even layered over thicker clothing, which is important when the forecast changes every two hours.
One thing I would change is the fit. It runs a little boxy for my preference, and I would’ve liked a more fitted, tailored style instead of the “borrowed my older brother’s jacket” look. I also wish it had a little more warmth for colder temperatures since it works best as a lightweight performance jacket rather than a full winter coat.
