        Comfortable sneaker for casual wear. The soles are firm and sturdy and the fabric top matches its firm design. The two tone colors and bold check make the sneakers great for everyday wear and matching clothes easily. I wish the feel was a little softer in the feet, but I imagine they’ll break in nicely like my other Air Max’s.

        Great sneaker for arch support. For those like me who have flat fleet these will help. Unfortunately they are a little too narrow in the middle for me to wear comfortably. If you have regular sized feet you will like these. They look nice and the combination of mesh on top with the rubber on the sides goes well. If I could change these and make them wider, they would be go to gym shoes. Overall solid sneaker.

      • Didn't live up to my expectations/hype

        I recently got a pair of Nike Air Max. I have always wanted a pair because of the cool aesthetic and popularity of the shoe. When I got them I was hyped on the looks. The shoe has a fresh, clean look with great color combo or black, gray, and red swoosh. The fabric looks and is lightweight. Has a snug but form fitting feel to the shoe. These looked like they were going to be turning heads while wearing them. Then I put them on... Unfortunately, the hype faded quickly. The shoe was extremely stiff in the heel and mid-sole. So stiff that when I would walk in them I would go heel-to-flat-foot stomp in one motion. At first I thought it was just a new shoe needing to be broken in. But then more I wore the shoe, I found that logic to be broken. It just wouldn't flex. Not sure if maybe I had a defunct pair or this is what all Air Max shoes feel like but definitely didn't meet my hype. The shoes could be cool if you plan to do very little walking. All that said, the positives are: The shoe looks awesome, The shoe has a great fabric that is snug, form fitting making it feel like it's one with your foot without feeling cramped or squished, The shoe fit true to size. The negatives: No flex in the mid-sole makes for a terrible feel when walking, Shoe is so stiff that it's not worth recommending to any unless they were just going to stand in one spot with them on. And even then, it would be better to sit because of the stiffness in the heel.
