Very disappointed. Thought this was finally going to be a good option for my son who wears AFO’s. The velcro strap is not long enough to cross over the top of the foot and attach properly when wearing the brace. The zipper was already getting stuck right out of the box so I would not expect it to hold up over time.

I think this shoe should be marketed to all of our special kids who wear orthotics. The options for cool shoes are nil and none. I buy several pair of Flyease every year for my daughter who wears AFOs and SMOs and this shoe in WIDE works with both. If the velcro strap was made an inch longer and the sole was a bit tougher to withstand my daughter’s off-kilter gait, this shoe would get a 5 star rating. Nevertheless, I love them, my daughter’s aides love them for easy on and off and most importantly, she loves all the colour choices and the swoosh!
