With supportive cushioning built for a smooth run, the Nike InfinityRN 4 is a brand-new take on a familiar favourite. It's made from our all-new Nike ReactX foam, which gives you 13% more energy return compared to Nike React foam, to help you stay fresh and bouncy. (What's more? Nike ReactX reduces its carbon footprint in a pair of midsoles by at least 43% compared with Nike React foam.*) This version has GORE-TEX fabric to help you stay dry for your miles. It's the kind of shoe that supports every step in style. *The carbon footprint of ReactX is based on a cradle-to-gate assessment reviewed by PRé Sustainability B.V. and Intertek China. Other midsole components such as airbags, plates or other foam formulations were not considered.

  • Could’ve been great but for the laces and durability

    Sunny694073765 - 26 Mar 2024

A potentially great but ultimately flawed pair of runners. Reviewing after getting through 100 miles in these for London Marathon training. Firstly, the waterproofing is brilliant. Have multiple times run in typical London rain and feet remain completely dry each time. The shoes are comfy and grippy (whilst the tread lasts). They lock in nicely and have enough bounce to minimise the fact that they are rather heavy. However there’s 2 major issues with these. The first being the laces. Easily the worst laces I’ve ever worn on any shoe. Regardless of type of knot/loop they find a way of coming undone. They’ve come off multiple times during a single run, most recently coming undone 6 times in a 14 mile session. Second gripe is the quality and durability of the sole. After about 60 miles of neutral running, the edges of the tread on the right shoe began noticeably wearing out to the point where there was no tread on the outer right rear of the shoe after 82 miles. So close to being the perfect rainy day running shoe but let down by a couple of basic things Nike should’ve got right.

  • Road runner convert!

    CurtisR790592667 - 06 Mar 2024

Not much of an outdoor runner due to multiple knee surgeries, but these make running so so much easier. Very comfortable, which brings confidence and that enables you to push yourself that little extra. Had a slight downpour whilst out and feet remained bone dry!

  • Ridiculously tight

I have average to narrow feet. These shoes are incredibly tight. I’ve had several infinities, but this Gore-Tex model literally strangles my feet. It’s got to be a design flaw. I have never had this problem with any Nike shoe. I even sized up half a size. Very disappointed I loved the idea.
