You've just downloaded the Nike Run Club App and want to go get some miles. Before you head out the door, there are two quick things to do:
- Enable location services
This ensures your run data will be recorded and available to view in your activity history. On iOS, you'll also need to enable Fitness Tracking:
- Tap the "Settings" app icon.
- Scroll down and tap "Privacy", then tap "Motion & Fitness".
- Move the slider to turn on "Fitness Tracking".
- Close and reopen the NRC App so the change can take effect.
- Enter your personal attributes
Information like your height and weight helps the NRC App provide accurate metrics for your runs. You can choose a default value if you'd rather not share your info.
Now it's time to get running. In the Run tab, you can go on a basic run, set distance or time targets, or pick up the pace with a speed run.
We even have something for you when your motivation is low. Our Guided Runs provide expert guidance from top Nike coaches and athletes, and the occasional special guest.
