Classy and comfy, but hilariously fat laces

Laces on the shoes I received are FAT, not as advertised in the online photos. This seems to have been an issue for some other customers as well based on some of the customer photos. I don't understand the inconsistency since plenty of other customer photos clearly show appropriately sized laces. Sadly, customer service told me they don't have laces available to send as a replacement... How is that possible/acceptable for a company as huge as Nike?? The shoe itself otherwise looks great and is comfortable. Feels like it'll stretch a little with use. Length is maybe a half size long while the width is on the slightly narrow side, though that's not unusual for Nike.
