Sustainable Fibres and Colour Process

Fabric is made from a blend of 100% recycled and organic fibres.The top gets its colour from fibre scraps that were pulled from factory trim waste, a process that both removes the need for a dyeing process and reduces the amount of trim fabric that goes to waste.

Folded Seam Details

Special care is taken to maximise efficiency when cutting panels for construction.Seam details on the underarms and lower panel secure folded-over fabric that would've otherwise been trimmed, a detail that reinforces construction and reduces trim waste.

The graphic is made from Nike Grind, a material made from scraps from the footwear manufacturing process.

How This Was Made

Combining recycled polyester and organic cotton creates a performance material that reduces carbon emissions, water and chemical inputs compared to blends made from virgin polyester and conventionally grown cotton.
Organic cotton is grown without synthetic chemicals and uses less water than conventional cotton. Recycled polyester reduces waste and reduces carbon emissions by approximately 30% compared to virgin polyester.
