How This Was Made
- The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.
- In addition to reducing waste, recycled polyester produces up to 30% lower carbon emissions than virgin polyester. Nike diverts an average of 1 billion plastic bottles annually from landfill and waterways.

Love the fit

These shorts fit great and are very comfortable. As a mom of a young girl, I appreciate that the shorts look stylish, but also have built-in underwear/liners. My daughter’s comment “I like that they aren’t super tight to my body, that they flow.” The shorts allow her to move freely without having to wear tight shorts, a perfect piece to add to her wardrobe. They are nice and lightweight but not flimsy. The woven fabric is durable and stands up well to a normal active 6-year-old! These are a great staple for her summer clothing as shorts alone and a stylish layer item over tights for cooler days!
