Although the slider bars show the size is 'Just Right', most of the written reviews show you need to go up a half size, please don't do what I did and only look at the slider! I always wear a 11.5 (UK) in Nike shoes, but these were definitely too small in that size. I replaced them with a 12 and they're still a little tight but I've worn them to the gym a couple of times and they're fine. But other than the sizing, they are really good. Feel great, very comfortable for all types of workout. I've used the standard Metcon for a few years, but as I'm doing less lifting right now while I build up my strength post lockdown, I wanted something I could do a bit more HIIT type workouts in. These fit the bill in every type of workout I've tried.

Really good for running and strength training, average for everything else.

Had the previous version and loved them, used for short runs and mainly gym time (lunges, squats, circuits with box jumps and side to side jumps, you name it). This version also holds up for everything in the gym while providing solid support on the sides, a little heel lift (nice for squats), and a hard surface to push from. Also comfortable for wearing around casually (opposed to standard Metcon or lifting shoe which is just too flat/hard for casually wear IMO). Can do shorter runs but recommend a real runner (like my pegs for this) for anything more than a mile or two. Hope Nike keeps going with the cross between Metcon and Free, I will keep buying and recommending! They are a little tight (I am usually an 11 and that is what I got for these) but that is kind of the point for a workout shoe! If you are looking strictly for comfort get a pair of runners or a lifestyle shoe.
