Nike LD-1000

I put these on and immediately felt like I was walking on clouds. These are my new go to every day beaters. They are so comfy and perfect for most activities I’ve used them for. Great for running errands, bopping around the city, biking, you name it! Not only are they comfy but the silhouette is sleek and stylish. I got the black and white pair that go with pretty much anything. Great for casual wear to slightly dressed up to hitting the office. Definitely will be purchasing another pair when these are great. I had had friends who scorned the Nike LD-1000, but I am so glad I gave them a try anyways as these have now become my new favorite shoes! The look is sleek and classic. I love the combination of the light breathable material making it a comfortable fit with the aesthetics of the leather accents on toe and heel. The contrast of the dark black with the crisp white swoosh and laces is clean and compliments so many looks. I often have problems with shoes rubbing my heel and ankle, but the loe top and minor heel padding make this a very comfortable fit. I was skeptical of the wide heel at first and it does feel different, but after a few strides I found it more pleasant and natural feeling that most other shoes and conventional heels. I have worn these shoes for daily wear, running errands, and some extended distance walks. The fit and feel has been enjoyable for all activities and lasts all day. I now understand why this has been a favorite shoe style of many for nearly 50 years and plan to add more to my collection.

The shoe fit true to size and had a hard foot feel, if you are flat footed than it would be perfect for you. I really like how subtle the design was, it gave the shoe a nice clean and crisp look. The material used on the uppers was nice and durable but also allowed airflow which was nice for the summer. My favorite part of the shoe was how versatile it was. If you wanted to wear some fitted pants or shorts it looked great. The only thing I would change is maybe put a softer foam in there he midsole or added cushion to the sole itself. I was able to wear the shoes for the better part of the day and it was just fine.
