Highly Rated

These cats aren't afraid to get wet. Preferring to spend more time splashing than not, the quick-drying Watercat+ takes you to the water's edge and across to the other side. Born out of our long history of woven shoes, the minimalist upper is crafted from non-wicking cords for lightweight breathability. We kept the quick-entry lacing system from the original while improving the shoe's overall fit and structure to help you stay comfortable on long river days. And because slippery rocks and mucky trails are basically nature's water park, the mixed-rubber outsole with undulating lugs delivers more grip than a sucker fish. When we say all conditions, we mean all conditions. So step into the current—these shoes are built to handle the flow.

  • New fishing kayak shoe this season

Best water shoe Nike has put out thus far. The insole is was comfortable when wet. Quick drying webbing made shoe a good fit and not a soggy fit.

  • Maybe great shoes

I'm undecided. I like the shoes and could really use them. Unfortunately, they don't fit really well and aren't as comfortable for me as I read in other reviews. The sizes are special, there are no half sizes. 37.5 – my usual size at Nike – was just too short, my toes hit the front, which was uncomfortable. Next possibility: 38.5. The length fits, which means that the shoes run rather small. But there is now so much space around the foot that I have to tighten the elastic bands to get enough support. The braid then presses its pattern onto the instep, which shows me that the shoe is laced too tightly. It's not uncomfortable to wear, but you can feel that something doesn't really fit well. I tried the shoes without socks because I think that's what they're made for. Who goes through the water with socks in their shoes? However, I don't (yet) know what it looks like with dirt and stones and sharp branches etc. on the ground. Both the sole and insole have holes so that the water can drain away easily. This could prove to be a major disadvantage when hiking. I'm not sure the shoe is actually an All Condition Gear. I still have to test them outdoors and in wet conditions. Until then, 3 points: for the solid sole and for the design and for the possibility that my fears turn out to be unjustified ;-) Update: The left shoe started making a strange noise when walking which is extremely annoying. Finally I returned the shoes.
