The 2025 North American champion and world championship podium finisher is always finding innovative ways to find out, including super-gluing a split-open shin together before a race.

3 world championship titles and a world-record time of 47:40.
And he's just getting started.
Name: Charlie Botterill
Hometown: Oxford, England, UK
A former professional cyclist with a huge aerobic engine, Charlie Botterill represents the next generation of competitive fitness. At just 24 years old, he's also the youngest athlete in the men's elite field. The 2025 world championships in Chicago marked a turning point—the moment he went all in on the sport, full-time. Since then, he's been collecting podium finishes around the world, from Rotterdam to Melbourne. Driven by the belief that being able to choose your discomfort is a privilege, no doubt the rower hates to see him coming.

Name: Manuela García Hometown: Almería, Spain
Manuela García began fitness racing after searching for a challenge that could match her ambition. The former weightlifting and functional fitness athlete now holds the Spanish record, competes among the world's elite and leads her own training community as a proud coach. She describes her Hybrid training as "a beast"—fitting, because she's set out to conquer it.
Name: Calypso Sheridan Hometown: Brisbane, Australia
Software engineer by trade. Hardcore athlete by nature. Calypso Sheridan spent the past two years in the high-pressure world of high-frequency trading while collecting sports in her spare time. Currently representing Australia in modern pentathlon and formerly in swimming, she has also competed across extreme triathlon, OCR, ultra trail running and fitness racing. If it's difficult, she's in. Now a full-time force in Hybrid racing, we're only just beginning to see what she's truly capable of.
