Nike Phantom 6 Low Elite

To start off, this is an extremely cool looking pair of cleats. The texturing up front forms a sort of faux strike zone that is reminiscent of old favorites such as the T90s or Phantom Venoms. Meanwhile, the Swoosh at the heel has some interesting spiky geometry going on within it, adding just the right amount of surface variation to an otherwise fairly plain shoe. This particular colorway is also mostly great. The classic combination of black and orange not only looks good but also evokes the memory of another classic in the launch colorway of the original Hypervenoms. This is why I cannot understand the addition of the third color in the heel. It is a very strange blue/lilac color that I cannot help but feel disrupts an otherwise timeless color combination. In my opinion, it contrasts with the orange very awkwardly and this particular pair would have looked much better with a simple black heel. Colorway aside, the Phantom 6 Elite is a great pair of cleats to play in. The Gripknit upper is soft and conforms well to the shape of your foot. It also grips the ball well, making for a positive feeling of control and curve when striking. I’ve been playing on fairly dry ground and the soleplate has performed adequately with no issues to speak of. The only thing with these is that they are ever so slightly long, which has not been an issue for me personally, but if you prefer a closer fit from your pair you may want to try going down half a size.

The Nike Phantom cleats typically offer great support and comfort for players, but the Low model is especially dynamic for ball control and agility. The cleats feel very plush and are easy to wear on the field. The design is jaw-dropping! The colors pop off the cleat and stand out more compared to other cleats on the market, with the large swoosh on the side and sleek design. The fabric texture, on the other hand, is also incredible with how high-quality it feels and offers an element I have not seen on any other shoes. This aspect is without a doubt my favorite part of the shoe, and it has already received rave compliments from others. The only thing I would change is possibly the mini Nike swoosh on the front of the shoe. I believe the large swoosh design on the side is enough to make the shoes stand out.

These are fantastic! I think they might be the nicest pair of football boots I have ever owned. Prior to my game, I wore them at my desk while working to break them and they were so light that I would forget I was wearing them at times. Typically, I size up a half size just to give myself some extra room but got these true to size and they fit snug and not tight due to the material used. That said, I have somewhat narrow feet so if you have wider feet, it might be best to size up. During the game they felt fantastic! Either I did a great job breaking them in or they didn’t need much breaking in because I was able to wear them for the full game the first time I wore them. Typically with new boots, I wear them for about 10 minutes before they start to hurt and I have to change them and then I repeat until they don’t hurt anymore. I did not have that issue with these. Wearing them made me feel like a better player. I am not a good player by any means but wearing them made me feel like I was twice as fast and an elite passer. As far as the design, I would say these would compare to a supercar. There are so many beautiful details that fit together perfectly to make the details. Each swoosh is textured and a different material than the rest of the upper. I really like the gripknit material around the toe. It is almost like a plastic flyknit hybrid which feels soft and malleable but still solid enough when controlling the ball. There is even a little extra padding in the spot where you shoot on the inside of the foot which is an excellent touch. The sole of the boot has this iridescent shimmer which, in my opinion, takes the design to the next level. It’s the bottom of the boot and gets covered in dirt immediately but the fact that it’s still there just shows that thought and care was put into every single aspect of this design. The boots even included a matching dust bag which is probably my favorite part. The royal tint/ bright crimson color combination is just brilliant because the colors would probably seem random if paired on anything else but a top tier soccer cleat. I typically play on turf but these made me start looking for more opportunities to play on grass again like the good old days!
