How This Was Made

The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.
In addition to reducing waste, recycled polyester produces up to 30% lower carbon emissions than virgin polyester. Nike diverts an average of 1 billion plastic bottles annually from landfill and waterways.

These shorts are great for girls who want to look cute while staying active in sports or just on the move. The shorts are lightweight, breathable, and dri-fit. These shorts are made of light material and not heavy cotton. The shorts should feel comfortable on a hot summer day. The material is breathable and flows with the breeze. I would be cautious to say they can probably snag easily. They are dri-fit so any moisture should dry pretty quickly. They have lining on the inside that is like the lining in boys swim trucks. There is also a zippered pocket on the back. The color of the shorts should be appealing for young girls. Great purchase for warm Spring days and Summer.

These shorts are super comfortable and lightweight for my daughter! They have a built in liner/underwear so my daughter is protected and comfy for when she’s tumbling and running around and doing cartwheels everywhere you don’t have to worry about her undergarments showing. The fabric is SO soft. It’s more of a cotton feel rather than the windbreaker type feel which is so much more softer on her skin. We got the matching jacket and she just loves looking so stylish among all her friends. It does well in the washer and the color stays bright. Definitely a great add to any wardrobe!
