- The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. Awful! I bought as I really like my pair of football academy trousers for training in the gym. I was surprised at how cheap and poor the quality of these are by comparison, the material feels like it would be better suited to a pair of coveralls to protect your clothes when painting. Don’t waste your time on these.
