If you’re debating between a cheaper shoe and a more expensive track shoe, definitely go more expensive. I’ve gone cheap with track shoes for a while (without carbon plate, under 70$) and upgrading to these shoes is like heaven. They are so light it feels they are not on your feet. One recommendation I would make is to order the size that can fit you closest, don’t try and grow into these. Overall good shoes.

Behind the design
We took inspiration from The Armory's original oval surface colour and painted it along the upper. The green accents take their cues from The Armory's infield in the middle of the track. The blue hits originate from the athlete warm-up area. The red along the sockliners and outsole stems from The Armory's logo. And the criss-crossed print speaks to the facility's iconic ceiling.
Built for Speed
Lighter and more responsive than the previous version, the carbon fibre Flyplate's shape and stiffness give you a propulsive feel. It helps keep you on your toes and minimise deceleration.
Zoom, zoom
The forefoot Air Zoom unit has two chambers to give you propulsion and stability from take-off to the tape.
Stability for straights
We removed the middle spike from the original Maxfly and elevated the platform on the big-toe side. This helps the spikes feel more stable on straights and around the turn.
Secure fit
Nike Flyweave construction on the upper provides a secure and contouring fit for various foot shapes.
